Showcaller

Phone by Google
Google’s official phone calling app Phone by Google (Google Assistant) helps you block spam callers and know who’s calling before you answer. It enables you to avoid unwanted calls from spammers, telemarketers, and scammers. You can block numbers to prevent them from reaching you again.
TrueCaller
Another app to find out who is calling you and blocking spam calls and SMS is TrueCaller. It has 300 million users. Enable spam detection and blocking in Settings > Phone > Call blocking and identification.
TrueCaller has a blacklist where those who call you in connection with various promotions and those who call you from banks for the recovery of other loans are passed.

Calls from an unknown number
Private number calls (those calling without a number) cannot be identified with these apps. The most effective solution is to block receiving private number calls directly from your smartphone.

- Go to Block numbers,
- Select Block Unknown Senders.
