Wallbox Supernova, ultra-fast charging station, manufactured in Spain, which allows payment by bank card, is available in Romania for locations with limited power (shopping malls, fast food restaurants, supermarkets, car dealers, gas stations) or hubs of high power charging. This station will be exhibited at the Translogistica 2023 event, at Romexpo, between September 19 and 21, 2023.
The ultra-fast charge station (150 KW) Wallbox Supernova 150 is part of EVconnect’s portfolio of electric vehicle charging stations, specialized in the installation of electric car charging systems.
Supernova is the new ultra-fast DC charging station of the latest generation from the Spanish brand Wallbox. Its high efficiency and reliability maximize uptime, benefiting both EV drivers and charging point operators.
100 km autonomy in 7 minutes at a Wallbox Supernova 150 station
With a power of up to 150 kW, the Supernova 150 power station can give an electric car a range of up to 100 km in less than 7 minutes. Thus, during a short break to buy something or to have a coffee, the electric car has good autonomy again.
The station has a 10-inch touch screen and an interactive lighting system to provide clear guidance to the user during the charging session. It allows for a number of payment options to streamline transactions, including a credit card reader.
How you can reduce the costs of charging an electric car
Wallbox Supernova 150 was designed to be easy to operate, it has a system to retract the 5 m cable to its original position, and receive updates over the air. This power station is a modular model to be permanently functional. In the unlikely event that one of the 6 power modules fails, users can continue to charge.
In addition, the station design allows easy access for personal maintenance and remote troubleshooting to reduce the need for site visits. Power modules are easy to change. One person can change the power module in less than 5 minutes.
Simultaneous charging with powers between 60 and 90 kW
The Supernova 150 stations have two chargers that allow simultaneous charging with powers between 60 and 90 kW when a second car is connected. It allows charging two electric cars to CCS2 or two cars that have CCS2 and CHAdeMO.
The six-module design and its self-learning algorithm allocate power per module when EVs require less than rated power. Its capability allows it to shut down modules, reducing wear and increasing lifespan.
The model is suitable for power-constrained locations such as gas stations, high-power charging hubs, car dealerships and shopping malls, and its small physical footprint (714 mm X 453 mm) makes it adaptable to many other locations.
